It's tough work trying to be a good dog, especially when there's so much temptation. Sometimes it takes more than adoring looks and precious antics to earn my keep around here. That's why I practice the ability to be what I call a "good canine citizen". We can all be good canine citizens and I can give you some tips.
Here's one of the easiest (and my personal favorite):
Offer to "pre-rinse" the dishes before they go in the dishwasher.
Of course, this is tongue-breaking work, especially if you have a large human family...
But, I cannot tell a lie...it has its benefits!
Pre-rinsing the dishes is an extremely important job but just like me, I'm sure you're up to the task. After all, pre-rinsing helps to keep the dishwashing machine from turning leftover bits into hard, crusty, caked-on bits. What a waste of nibbles.
I love nibbles!

How Very Helpful! I have to talk to my Mom about this. I'm SURE I could help with the dishes. It looks like Very Hard Work, but I think I'm up to the task. Thanks for the motivational pictures!
